Having lived in San Francisco myself many years ago -- and spent numerous weekends venturing up to Napa and Sonoma with my husband -- I can tell you that it's a place like no other. I was so thrilled to learn a year ago that Karen Lynch, gluten free herself for nearly a decade, had restored a historic home and several cottages on a beautiful piece of property in the heart of downtown Napa...and turned it into a B&B called the Inn on Randolph. - Come and enjoy the Inn in all its gluten free glory! Chef Jeffrey Larsen will host a "Basics of Gluten Free Baking" class in January 9-11, 2015. Jeffrey is a master of allergen-free baking and a gluten free gourmand and will lead you in hands-on classes geared to both new and veteran gluten free bakers. Participants will leave with over 15 original recipes and the know-how to replicate them in their own kitchens.
Napa Valley will be hosting a marathon on Sunday, March 1, 2015. With any 3-night booking at the Inn on Randolph from February 27 through March 4, 2015, you'll receive a discount on rooms, a special runners breakfast, $50 off a couples massage, a gourmet cheese platter, and a VIP wine tasting at Wines by Mark Harold (which also includes a bottle of wine).
