Gluten Free B&B in Napa Hires New Chef and Offers Special Promotions for May and June

You probably recall my mentioning the Inn on Randolph in past posts. It’s a 100% dedicated gluten free B&B in the heart of Napa Valley, run by proprietor Karen Lynch, who has been gluten free herself for the past 8 years.

In addition to building a loyal following among gluten free travelers, the Inn on Randolph has the honor of being recognized as the #1 rated B&B in Napa overall on Trip Advisor.

It’s no wonder, when you look at the beautiful restoration Karen undertook when she bought the historic property a few years ago. The guest rooms are gorgeous, as are the kitchen and dining areas. There are multiple buildings with guest rooms on the property, all with their own unique character and all containing the luxurious modern comforts guests desire.

There’s even a small spa where you can relax with a massage after a day of sightseeing or wine tours. And you’ll be spoiled with wonderful gluten free breakfasts and appetizers before dinner. In fact, the Inn on Randolph has hired a new Head Chef, Ethan Speizer, who is producing some of the freshest and most inspired local cuisine around, often using organic produce sourced from the Inn’s abundant garden. When dining off property, there’s need to worry where you’ll find a safe gluten free meal…there are now many restaurants right in the area that offer gluten free menus, if not a dedicated gluten free environment).

There’s always something exciting going on at the Inn, and the next couple months are no exception.

In May, Karen is offering Mother’s Day specials for the entire month. If you book three or more nights at the Inn on Randolph, you’ll receive:

  • 20% off a massage for Mom with a free aromatherapy upgrade
  • A chilled bottle of Mark Herold Rose and a gourmet cheese platter
  • Complimentary tasting for two at Pine Ridge Winery
  • Complimentary tour and/or tasting for two at Frog’s Leap Winery

This is a $245 value, all yours for no extra charge!

Not available in May? Then consider the Early Booking Special for June, if you make your reservation by June 1, 2014. With any stay that includes three or more mid-week nights (Sunday-Thursday), you’ll receive:

  • 10% discount on room rates (before tax)
  • A bottle of 2012 Mark Herold Flux Rose wine
  • A complimentary VIP tasting at the Mark Herold Tasting Room in downtown Napa

Having lived in San Franciso from 199-2002 -- and having spent many weekends exploring Napa and Sonoma -- I can attest to the fact that it's hard to compete with this area as a vacation destination. The advantage of staying at the Inn on Randolph is that you can explore the city or the surrounding wineries all day but then return to the tranquil setting and nurturing atmosphere of the Inn to relax and rejuvenate. It's the best of both worlds.

Call the Inn at 707-257-2886 or view more details about these specific promotions on the Specials page of their website. Be sure to take a moment to browse the beautiful photos of the property and all their various rooms. No matter when you visit this one-of-a-kind B&B, be sure to share your thoughts by submitting a review to GlutenFreeTravelSite!
